Job Title: Travel Software Developer Company: Buenvuelo Tours IT Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Job Overview Buenvuelo Tours IT is seeking a skilled and innovative Travel Software Developer to join our technology team in Jeddah. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that support travel operations, booking platforms, customer experiences, and internal business processes. This role requires a strong understanding of software development practices, travel technology systems, and the ability to build reliable, scalable, and user-friendly applications that enhance the efficiency of our travel services. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain travel-related software applications and platforms. • Build and enhance solutions for online bookings, reservations, customer management, payment integrations, and travel service automation. • Collaborate with business teams to understand operational requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Integrate third-party travel APIs, including airline, hotel, payment, and tourism service providers. • Develop clean, efficient, and scalable code following industry best practices. • Troubleshoot software issues, perform debugging, and implement improvements. • Ensure application security, performance, and reliability. • Participate in software architecture planning, system upgrades, and technology improvements. • Maintain technical documentation for applications and development processes. • Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in travel technology. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Software Developer, preferably within the travel, tourism, booking, or hospitality technology industry. • Strong knowledge of software development life cycles and programming principles. • Experience with web application development, databases, APIs, and system integrations. • Ability to analyze problems and deliver effective technical solutions. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality. Preferred Technical Skills • Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies. • Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. • Experience with backend development and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL). • Familiarity with travel industry systems, GDS platforms, booking engines, or API integrations is an advantage. • Understanding of cloud platforms, version control systems, and modern software development tools.
