Job Title: Financial Software Developer Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia Department: Information Technology / Stock Trading Systems Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Financial Software Developer to join our IT team in Dammam and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of advanced software solutions for stock trading and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering skills, experience with financial systems, and an understanding of trading platforms, market data, and transaction processing environments. The role involves developing high-performance applications, integrating financial technologies, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with business and technology teams to deliver secure and efficient solutions that support stock trading activities. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain financial software applications supporting stock trading operations. • Develop and enhance trading platforms, order management systems, portfolio systems, and related financial applications. • Build reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions capable of handling real-time financial data and transactions. • Integrate applications with market data providers, exchanges, APIs, and internal financial systems. • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Optimize application performance, database queries, and system processes. • Implement software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, documentation, and version control. • Troubleshoot software issues and provide technical support for production systems. • Ensure compliance with security standards and financial industry requirements. • Collaborate with developers, analysts, traders, and IT teams to deliver technology solutions. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Finance Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Software Developer, preferably within financial services, banking, brokerage, or trading environments. • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, C++, Python, or similar technologies. • Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL. • Knowledge of financial systems, stock markets, trading workflows, or investment platforms. • Experience with APIs, system integration, and real-time data processing. • Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and agile practices. Preferred Qualifications • Experience developing trading platforms, exchange connectivity systems, or financial applications. • Knowledge of securities trading, order execution, risk management, or portfolio management systems. • Experience with cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and distributed systems. • Familiarity with financial regulations and cybersecurity practices. • Experience working in a high-performance, mission-critical technology environment. Technical Skills • Object-oriented programming and software design principles. • Backend and/or frontend application development. • Database design and optimization. • API development and integration. • Debugging, performance tuning, and system monitoring. • Version control tools such as Git and modern development frameworks.
